Tim Hovik is the Owner and Operator of San Tan Ford in Gilbert, Arizona, one of the largest and most successful Ford dealerships in the world. Today, Hovik is recognized as a major force in Arizona automotive retail, Ford dealer leadership, college athletics, and community philanthropy.
Under Hovik’s leadership, San Tan Ford has become a nationally recognized dealership and one of the 50 largest Ford dealerships in the world. The dealership has earned many of Ford’s top honors, including the President’s Award, ONE Ford Elite recognition, Ford Top Volume Dealer Challenge, and the Certified Pre Owned Leadership Award.
Hovik also plays an influential role at the national level as Chairman of the Ford National Dealers Council, representing thousands of Ford dealers in direct conversations with Ford Motor Company leadership. As the auto industry continues to evolve, Hovik has been an important dealer voice during Ford’s expansion into electric vehicles through Ford Model e, while also supporting Ford Blue and the continued strength of Ford’s gas powered vehicle lineup.
Beyond the automotive industry, Hovik is one of Arizona State University’s most visible athletic supporters and NIL advocates. His support of ASU’s Sun Angel NIL Collective includes a major donation of 10 Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles in 2024, with full insurance coverage included to help student athletes focus on school and football.
Hovik is also deeply committed to giving back across Arizona. Through his support of House of Refuge, the WM Phoenix Open, Special Olympics, local youth sports, education, housing programs, and Arizona charities, he continues to turn his “less talk, more action” philosophy into real community impact.
